Trevor stumbled upon the wonderful world of movies at a young age, and his love for them has grown ever since! All through childhood, he dreamt of movies and Hollywood and hoped that one day he would be able to create his own. One long day after Business school, he caught The Director's Cut bug from Julia and never looked backed! At The Director's Cut, Trevor could have his childhood dream come true, and educate digital kids in a language that is unique to them!
Julia was born one dark, wintery night in February with only one mission: to bring filmmaking to your classroom! After studying at Brock University for 4 years and earning a degree in Film Studies, she moved on to join the Toronto Film School and received a diploma for Film and Television Production. About 6 months and various films later, she joined the awesome team at The Director's Cut and has been here since! Her passion for passing along filmmaking skills to students drives her each and every day!

I am a Media Educator (11 years teaching Film and Photography), Musician, Film Maker and Photographer.  I have enjoyed working in Secondary schools in Australia and elementary schools in Canada, and I love teaching kids to explore their voices through the digital media.  I believe that a strong and enjoyable education in media literacy is crucial today, and that the best way to learn is to experience the processes that go into completing a full production.  Kids can develop their creativity, teamwork, communication and technical skills through our Director's Cut workshops.  Summer and Vacation camps are a great way for them to build on those skills as well as have a lot of fun amongst friends old and new.
The Team at The Director's Cut Toronto bring years of experience and a great sense of fun to all our workshops so kids have a great time making their movies and productions.  We look forward to bringing our workshops to your classrooms and neighbourhoods.

Farrah brings over 15 years of PR and marketing expertise to her role as Regional Operator for DC in British Columbia. A champion of programs that provide children with skills for lifelong success, she has served as President of the Parent Advisory Council at the school her 3 children attend in West Vancouver. Farrah is An avid movie buff, and looks forward to bringing DC's unique and exciting programming to teachers and students in BC.
