1. How long is the workshop?

Our workshops are full day in length, but can be broken up into 2 half days for children in K - 3.

2. Do you come to us?

The Director's Cut brings our mobile digital technology directly into your classroom.  Our ratios are 4 or 5:1.  There is no need for bussing, parent volunteers.

3. How much does it cost?

The DIrector's Cut charges $20.00 plus GST / participant for a full day workshop and includes, facilitators, equipment, materials, assesment and evaluation, A DVD / participant, free tickets to our film festival each Spring

4. Is this expensive for a field trip?

The $20.00 fee / participant actually works out to be less expensive than a conventional field trip...  There are no additional bussing costs, no travel time wasted going back and forth to the venue, no admission costs, no worries about lunch and supervision issues and includes tickets for you to go another field trip to see a feature film.  Trained film professionals and media specialists work with your class all day.

5. Are there any subsidies available?

The Director's Cut maintains that all children should have the opportunity to be media literate.  To ensure this, The Director's Cut has created a fund to help subisdize upto 20% of the fees for schools and classrooms that require such funding.  The subsidies are on a first come first serve basis and are limited to 50 classrooms.  Please ask when booking if subsidies are still available.

6. Are there any grants available?

Please check with your local school authority... many times, there are grants available for our workshops.
