We just want to thank all of the amazing young film makers and their parents for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of your lives this summer! We know you have many choices for camps... and we are really happy you chose us for the week!
This summer, The Director's Cut will be shooting live on location in over 25 communities throughout Canada and The United States.
Our exciting partnerships with municipalities and schools across North America provide established, safe venues, extensive safety policies and procedures and a talented crew of staff that will ensure your child's Hollywood experience is Oscar worthy!
The same facilitators that work with over 115,000 students throughout the year will be on site working with your young director's this summer (aka children). DC camps, including film making, claymation, stop motion video, music video production and digital comics are designed to provide a collaborative technology experience.
Film crews, not individuals, will work together in all facets of the pre production, production and post production of their film. New media is active technology, meaning your children will be doing..... working inside, outside, and everywhere in between! Our summer camp day is always complimented with different "Outside the Box" activities, including water balloon fights, pudding eating contests, Pie FIghts, swim, and or water park, our new interactive activity called "!" and a trip to the local theater to see the big, summer blockbuster (not available in all areas). Friday at 3:00 is always The DC Popcorn Film Festival, where family and friends watch the week's blockbusters up on the big screen. All of our camp fees are inclusive for the week. There are no additional sign up fees, or hidden costs. The only additional costing is for our flex care option, which provides before and after care from 8 - 9 and 4 - 5.

Make A Movie See A Movie @ CIneplex
The Director’s Cut Make A Movie See A Movie is thrilled to be presented at participating Cineplex theaters throughout Canada. Arrive at the Cineplex Party Room at 9:00 and begin your directorial debut in either claymation, stop motion animation, or digital comic book production. Create your film, complete with sound effects and voice overs. Have a bite to eat (because that is what Hollywood types do) before being whisked off (actually you are just walking to the theater) to the theater to see this year’s biggest blockbuster. March Break titles include Diary of A Wimpy Kid and Alice in Wonderland. Enjoy popcorn, drink and a snack in your reserved seats. After the film, check out some trivia and enjoy your own private film festival. All participants receive full day / supervised program 9 -4, admission to movie, popcorn, drink and snack, and chaptered DVD for $45.00 / day. THE NEXT MAKE A MOVIE IS AUGUST 30 AND 31 ACROSS CANADA.
